The only monkeys at this park where mine...

Feeding the rabbits and goats

Feeding the rabbits.

Those goats really liked Lucas!

Nathan enjoyed feeding them also.

Here's the goat with it's horn in Lucas' id holder

Nathan playing with the baby goat.

The goats were very aggressive if you didn't feed them fast enough.

Here's Nathan trying to hide in this wood play area they have.

Halloween Goodies for the Troops

My FRG decided it would be a nice treat to make goodie bags for our company soldiers that are deployed. I bought bags, patriotic lollipops, patriotic candy corn, and bible verse fortune cookies for 200 soldiers. After Shelia and I finally got them opened, filled, and put on the table, it was quite alot of bags. Now at the next FRG meeting, everyone else will bring more goodies to put in them and the soldiers should get a nice little treat bag!

Hot Air Balloon Flying over Schweinfurt

Just caught a picture of this balloon flying over Conn yesterday on the way home from the boy's TaeKwonDo class. Thought it was a pretty cool picture.

First Day of League Bowling

Here's Lucas in motion

Just waiting...

Ready...Set...Bowl...

Here's Nathan waiting on his ball

Oops! In the gutter...

The boys started their bowling league on Saturday. They didn't divide them up into teams, but they will next week according to ages. Nathans average on the first day was a 65. Lucas' average was 112. We'll see how much they progress through the season.

The Last Day...until R&R that is!!

We got a few last pictures the day Les left. Didn't want to take any at the actual family time (the last hour we had together) it was to hard to smile and look happy:(

I love you Les.

The Night Before

We took these pictures the night before Les had to leave. We just spent time with each other and had fun.

Nathan had his finger over the flash in this picture, so it didn't turn out so great.

Nurnberg Zoo

Here are a few pictures from our trip to the Nurnberg Zoo. We had alot of fun looking at all the animals they have. The tiergarten (as it is called in German) is the largest one here in Germany.
Here is Lucas and Nathan in front of a rhino.

Some kind of bird and a really big nest...

We had to take a timeout and get some lunch. The boys had pizza and some pomme frits, me and Les had a hachen schnitzel.

Nathan with some Zebras and other horse-like animal. I didn't realize Nathan didn't smile in any of his pictures until we got home because I broke the LCD screen on my camera. He said he did it on purpose too. That's a boy for ya!

These two gorillas were taking it easy looking at people like "What are you looking at?" It was very human-like poses the way they were sitting.

More Zoo Animals...

An Asian and African Elephant

a saltwater aquarium...

Some mountain goats...check out the huge male on the roof!!

a snow leopard...

these cute little bears were waving at people, that's
why Nathan has his hand up waving at them. He thought it was quite funny!!

a few penguins...

Lucas with a tiger behind him

this was a huge tiger that was inside...

a mama and baby seal hanging out on the rocks...

the mama lion was going over to 2 cubs she had. I couldn't get a picture of them because they were behind the bushes. The male lion never got up both times we passed by them. Go figure!
