Alte Mainbrücke or All Saints Bridge

Lucas and Nathan gave the mime a few Euros to put on a show.

The old saints bridge in lined with 12 saints along the sides. All the way to the end you can see the 2 towers of the Dom St. Kilian that stand unusually close to each other.Construction begun on the Dom St. Kilian in 1040, and the east towers in 1237, long before the bridge itself was constructed.

The Old bridge, built 1473 –1543 replacing the destroyed Romanesque bridge. Adorned with the well-known statues of saints about 1730.

Nathan wanted his picture taken in front of St. Joseph because he thought it looked the most like Jesus.
